Less And Less Poem by Marilyn Jean

Less And Less

Needless
To come to pretend here
Or brush sand all day long
When all turn bland, flavorless

Restless
My heart here
Feeling up, down or lost
Then remembering, so alone, my weakness

Relentless
Missing load and more here
Wondering what on earth is going on
And waiting for my best friend kindness

Merciless
Day after day here
Or so I feel and come to say so
About a love so gently blue, pure gentleness

Fearfulness
You leaving me here
All my emotions, thoughts or desires drawn
In the vast purple ocean of hesitations, useless

Boldness
Just as you know, so much like me
And here every day, I care truly much less
For the spreading ghostly emptiness

Closeness
One of my early wish, so long ago
But there we both go, you see me and I see you
So sweet and easy, and we just doubt it less and less
