Less Hard Work Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Less Hard Work

Rating: 5.0

The idea of good family has been forgotten
The moral values of oneness has been fallen
The joint family concept has been forgotten
It has been confined only to self, wife and children

I am not sure of situation elsewhere
But now a day’s little kid even dares
To speak on the face of father
And create more troubles for mother

The joint families are breaking
People have worries to take care in the evening
Next day program reminds them of tough challenge
It becomes really difficult to manage

We have turned less tolerant
We need no yoke of parent
Old people are totally ignored
They have been pushed out side door

It is oriented with inhuman approach
Where there is absence of humanity touch
No care for old, poor or fellow human
We have become self centered animal

Animals and birds have little instinct
They care for food, shelter and movement in fact
But we need more material comfort
With less hard work and good effort
