Lessons Of The Heart Poem by Esther Hadassah Sendeza

Lessons Of The Heart

Rating: 5.0

The heart so fragile but still lessons to be learnt,
when you search deep inside it you'll find the memories that were burnt.

The deceit,
the hurt
the pain
it has gone through,
builds anger and bitterness deep down me and you.

Still, life unfolds more lessons to be learnt,
but eversince you came..
every yesterday has answers to what life had meant..

Lessons of the heart fill our life with diverse experiences, some good, others hurtful, yet they culminate in the memories we save for the future, trying to not make the same mistakes again. Very wise and insightful look into the heart and it's desires, I love your delicate style of writing. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

Your overarching theme is that our lives accumulate the experiences we need to make the right choices. And at a certain point we can certainly make wise choices, because the truth of things has been clearly revealed over time. This is what gives your poems their poise and maturity. But I sense and respond to the currents of desire which flow within them: The poems want the happiness of true love.
