M-ake faith set things aright,
A-s troubles bother you;
R-aindrops are still falling
I-n torrents heavy and blue.
V-iolent wind blows hard,
I-nclement clime causes woe;
C-urrent in the sea is strong, threatening as a faith's foe.
E-vening chill gets colder,
S-hadows stay too long;
C-louds in the sky above
A-re dark like a sad song.
N-ew dawn has now broken,
I-n seventh October light;
L-et your trust in God remain,
L-et faith set things
A-right.
