splitted..........i'd use split..... or maybe spilt? ? Until I compensate The loss of her, so painful, On the hot closing days of cheerful April! ........................... i 'need' a Poet's Notes! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! the topic is stress. i'm guessing the speaker had a loved one (mother?) die, and now, under much stress, the speaker is striking out in fantasy at the 'departed' because the loved one has abandoned the speaker. am i close to understanding? ? ? bri ;) quite interesting! to MyPoemList

WOW! This is uncompromising. It's also sheer action, imagined action, there's no context given for your anger. I wondered if it might be meant ironically, but there is a steadiness of purpose that runs through the poem and a certainty of attitude. In English people are fond of quoting this line of poetry; HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED. Is this an example of such emotion? Reading it gives me a liberating feeling. As if what had to be done, is done.
