Let It Go Poem by jess schwarcz

Let It Go

Let it go.
Let it be.
And just leave me alone.
I want to be me,
Without you pulling me down.
So why don't you just
Let it be,
Let it go.

Stop trying to pull me in,
Just to kick me out.
Cause I got what I need,
I got what I want.
And I've found my paradise,
With another life.

Let it go.
Let it be.
And just leave me alone.
I want to be me,
Without you pulling me down.
So why don't you just
Let it be,
Let it go.

Cause how does it feel
When you turn around,
Never knowning what's real?
And nobody's there to catch you,
Nobody's there to save you?
But don't go too far
Cause the drama queen from next door
Will be needing you to come,
To listen to her woes again some more.

Let it go.
Let it be.
And just leave me alone.
I want to be me,
Without you pulling me down.
So why don't you just
Let it be,
Let it go.

No more will I take this beating,
For too long I've wished to be out dreaming.
So like said before,
'You've got to be a friend
To get a friend.'
And until then, this is the end.

Let it go.
Let it be.
And just leave me alone.
I want to be me,
Without you pulling me down.
So why don't you just
Let it be,
Let it go.
