Let My Dog Come Run In Your Yard Poem by Dorsey Baker

Let My Dog Come Run In Your Yard

Rating: 5.0

Pigs play in the pen
Dogs run in the yard
An honest man can walk the street
But if you've got
Something to hide
You had better
Hire yourself
A body guard

Baby I've got
My finger on the trigger
And I'm ready to
Shoot my gun
Baby you don't have to be afraid
To walk with me
Because you know that
I'm just
Too brave to run

You don't have to be
No gambling man
Just pick a card
And baby if you want me to
I'll let my dog come
Run in your yard
