Let Sanity Be Not Your Guiding Force. Poem by Chandrashekar a posy poet

Let Sanity Be Not Your Guiding Force.

Let sanity be not your guiding force.

You have asked me often,
That-
I don't miss you,
I don't call you,
And I don't care!

Well, let me tell you,
One last time.

Common!
Come near, right here.
Stay close enough and watch my lips
That every word I utter is the pious prayer of you,
My world.

Wait a moment,
I summon you to stay still, and close your eyes,
Go on and embrace the spirit of silence,
And feel that in every breathe I take,
Is the bit of that precious gift, you left,
My life.

Stay there for a while,
This damn world can wait for you and me.
Now, place your ear right on my heart
And listen to each of its rhythmic beat,
It only echoes a hymn in your name,
So fondly, my love.

Stop not at anything, or anywhere,
Say not a word anymore my dear!
Be kind to yourself and be foolish,
Take a pause, and pamper your fantasies,
Your heart and soul, like never before.
Let sanity be not your guiding force.
Please surrender once to serenity
And be swayed by its splendid aura and aroma.
Get as deep as you can,
As soon as you can and as far as you can,
Within!

And stride straight through its pith to bottom,
Where you will find nothing absolutely!
Nothing but me, only me.
Waiting for you, at the same place,
With a smile that is not yet pale,
Ever since you left me there.
Waiting for you with hope of life,
Just to be with you by my side.

Still, with all that is left with me and in me.
I most humbly appeal to you,
At this age, time and all consequence.
Stretching my arms and heart,
To keep you safe and warm with love and care!

Can you still be?
My purpose,
My poetry,
My destiny,
And my journey.
