Let There Be Light! Poem by Denis Martindale

Let There Be Light!

LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Come Spring, come Summer,
Daffodils sense the seasons,
Daylight then sunshine!

The 5-7-5 syllable haiku poem was written
in answer to a poem request on QUORA.

Here is the opposite version of a haiku poem
with 3 lines that use 7-5-7 syllables instead,
so I call this the ukiah, UK poem version...

LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Daffodils sense the seasons,
Come Spring, come Summer,
Daylight increases each day!
