Let Us Set Forth Poem by Raymond Farrell

Let Us Set Forth

Rating: 5.0

Let us set forth
On the brawny sea
Let us stand
On the bridge head
In the soft light of dawn
Look briefly landward
Softly repeat our farewells
Grasp hope
Reject despair
Raise anchor
Slip moorings
Set the keel
Make sure our course
Hoist sails
And be off
Into the growing swell.

Very nice, voyaging poem, With musical zeal, And great life-touring appeal. Really loved it!
