Let Wisdom Speak Poem by Jemarie Ragudo

Let wisdom borne from ages
Enlighten the innocence of youth
Though it must speak with caution
Not to risk condemnation

Now let us start this discourse
With a common observation
How the young pursue a course
That leads to wrong directions

Maybe it would help to comment
All that pleases is for the moment
All that bothers is likewise passing
Only the important is everlasting

It’s not for us to make decisions
To live or die is out of the question
But may I say that what we live for
Are also those that we shall die for
