Lethal Hooks Poem by Vision Ghost

Lethal Hooks

So for all the crying that did no good but fertilisation
For the parched soils or so the meaningful desperation
Shivering and wet when reality came down the walls
Slashed these arms to keep me warm in bloodied falls

It just isn’t loud enough to drown realities’ consistence
All the reminders tapping on shoulders of a conscience
Fallowed figure of seedless lands in a mist of my mind
To dwell like a shadow lurking as of something unkind

Perhaps a second self in opposition so be not afraid of me
And let this red anger bleed and vitriol sciences set free
A carnival that encapsulated a cell of one point in time
That was a simplistic atom until detonated as amphetamine

Strumming out the chords of deaths guitar’s swan song
I see the peril approaching and I’m gathered for so long
A collection of unfilled fantasies some violent some good
Only need the catalyst’s switch to bring out what I should

Breeze sways the grass when I walked the other way today
Couldn’t make out the screams of protest, what did you say?
Too many voices in a cordial collaboration to so bring
My head, my mind, these decorations to help them sing

Beat myself so much I left a hole to inner thoughts leaking
Across the floor and into the wood where flowers growing
Entwined and unrelenting so kill off the weeds as part of me
Perhaps the insects too that fed off sugars you couldn’t see

The silent glass to dim the voice of consequences between us
Yet it turns on the fortunes of days and many more scream alas
Stop staring at my grave when you never looked twice in life
What have you to say when I can’t defend with tongued knife?
