For my love not long forgotten
Within mine, never forgotten
Loneliness is the longest winter

Dearest mine without me
Time with you once was sweet
Dear to me is the loving memories
Such is foolishness
Yearning to possess what could of never been

Perhaps it is time to sleep
Or is it time to wake this awful dream
Only love could of broke this happy smile
Once the free spirit, My heart could fly
Now each day passes ever slowly
Though I know this cannot be my life
Yet it is what has become
If only sleep would come
My heart might wake
