Letter To Myself Poem by Christopher's Dead

Letter To Myself

Rating: 5.0

Do you believe you can cry tears of blood
That are so hot they hurt as they fall down your cheeks
Mixed with sweat as you burn up away in the heat
Of your heart screaming from an overdose of feeling
When everything you do and everything you try
Is to make these tears seep out, bubbling lava
If you lose your thoughts just enough that you know you won’t feel
You realize that living is not worth it anymore
So you cry just to let yourself know you still feel
Even though you’ve been feeling the entire time
A symptom of regression of your militant disease
That lets you know you are dying though your heart keeps beating
For this fatal sickness that breeds right inside you
The only cure is love, so please start trying
To find your heart, your love, it’s been there all along
While your sadness has prevented you from truly existing.
