Letting Go Poem by Madison Riley

Letting Go

Rating: 3.5

Tangled strings weave knots into my soul
Twist and turn, they fail to unravel
Feel the cold
Take its toll

Cut this rope that’s holding us together
Years from now I’m sure we will see better
What’s so good it couldn’t last forever?
Letting Go I know it will be better

Naked, there’s no more for you to see
Good and bad, you’ve seen all sides of me
Let you be
Release the lead

Cut this rope that’s holding us together
Years from now I’m sure we will see better
What’s so good it couldn’t last forever?
Letting Go I know it will be better
