Letting It Be Poem by Fay Slimm

Letting It Be

Rating: 5.0

When something arises to niggle and pain,
Each hurt, or affront we despise returns
So often, tormenting our mind yet again,
Until we decide a wise lesson to learn.
Giving permission for things to just 'be'
Without trying to change or control.
By stepping back, looking on, being free
Of assertive response, we remain whole.
Letting things 'be' often accomplishes more
Acceptable outcomes than ever before.
