Never in my wildest dream did I ever imagine that I would so easily get attached to someone
Spent a brief moment together but in that short while you gave me so much to look forward to
Those moments led me to think that I was special to you
I believed that we had something special
I believed that what we had meant so much to you as it did to me
You gave me false hope
You gave me hope only for me to be exposed to the painful reality
Maybe I shouldn't put all the blame on you
Maybe I am also at fault for falling for you
Maybe I just misread you and your real intentions
What I thought we had was far from reality
Watching you love another woman wasnt easy
I have never been one to share
I just cant bear the thought of sharing and so I am letting go of you
I know with time I will heal
As time goes by the memories will fade and maybe,
Just maybe, I will even forget your name and your existence
Although it hurts, I am letting you go
