Liarproof Poem by Rory slevin

Liarproof

To call all lies false
Means that you have little time for anything else
But the wrongs and the hardships
That we are forced to climb
Our peace will lie until God dies
The eternal bride of smoke and mirrors
Making and taking us Liarproof

The stones and their shape is judged by the tide
But on who's side
We listen to hope, joy and pain rolled into one
May the sun shine on every single one?
And bring the protection that can never be brought from the steel of a gun
Safe from the one true danger that must be faced
When your heart, beats out of pace
Love goes by in the strangest ways when hate is there to challenge it
My father told me keep it close but don't let it get you for love spawns lies
In those who cant see love in the skies but in the ground where only pride will lie

There are some questions asked that cant be known cause we don't understand
Do trees make a sound when no ones around to see the sight
Does a mirror reflect the night?
God wont die and mirrors will hide the smoke

The myths of old are too real for me
But not the tombs of History
Too much Too less
What would the Dragons say to this?

Our peace will lie until God dies
The deathly bride of smoke and mirrors
Making and taking us Liarproof
