Waterfall Poem by Rory slevin

Waterfall

In my life I’ve never seen a happiness I could believe
Dreamers will catch us, mock us and lock us away for getting up before the dawn
Dawn of a new life, evening of old strife alls not what it appears at all
I’ll take the fall cascade down this waterfall

Darkness is gentle, love is but mental
It exists against Mother Nature’s will
Who am I oh will I die in peace or in pieces
If I was in a zoo what animal would I be to you
A bird that’s caged or a fish on a lead
Don’t think ill heed the way you say you need to crawl
That it’s all too much too soon to fall down that waterfall

Your breath on the glass, your message in sand, s.o.s
It’s cold but oh pure gold life is death and grief is what’s left
Dawn of a new life evening of old strife alls not what it appears at all
I’ll take the fall parade down this waterfall

Gone are the days, along with the old ways that allowed the sun to shine
Now we see what science says it’s not enough to pray all night
Destiny is returning
Be made in this waterfall
