Liberating Balance Poem by jkd jkd

Liberating Balance

Rating: 5.0

the gravity of planets spinning
intertwined galaxies keeping their distance
myself: - firmly rooted and yet endlessly striving
expanded between the comforting earth
and the pulling skies
finally achieving a state of balance
it is just a moment:
my heart is missing a beat
my planets reaching a one-time constellation
finally ending the push and draw of attraction down here
and then I stand corrected and balanced
my muse may be gone, but
I am looking back at a period of turmoil
from a higher point of view
shaking my head
smiling again
