time for some music
it's time
the time is now apparently
to get the I=pod module and to stick it in your ears
...
Lake Winnebago... trash on shoreline
fish hooks and mountain dew cans
wino
look at that dead fish and those flies buzzing
...
now
right now i lay and peck these letters
my cigarette in it's position
no sound tonight the smoke through my nose now
...
thud
mud
i need a hug from a large automobile
i see the fat bus driver stopping for donuts
...
The door opens again
gray light illuminates little
The liquid stream of men
violent spittle
...
asphalt radiator skinned salutation
baked carbon implants old gulf station
restroom air freshener chemical
piney woods tractor trailer
...
raised by wolves)
Music
time for some music
it's time
the time is now apparently
to get the I=pod module and to stick it in your ears
i've done that before
i remember that time
it was 3 o'clock in the morning it was a hornet night
i just heard it
my heart pumping out death rattles
i woke up on a golf course to the sound of sprinklers
that was before compact discs
and orange juice the way it used to sound
with a bent Pall Mall and five bucks to your name
and a waitress named 'Im Jade Takemeoutofhere'
that's what I thought anyway but I didn't care
I'de seen her before
I see her every day
Sue and Marcia and Consuelo
Ghouls toting hash browns and ketchup
Steal a bottle of Listerine and a Bible
Go down by the river and read some proverbs
Listen to the music
rich is a haunted soul, vulnerable and precious. his expressions leave me moved and shaken.
