Liberation Poem by Adam Pergande

Liberation

On a bulbous farm of lackadaisical creatures,
an insignificant flea found hope.
A gargantuan thunder within his wings,
he conquered fear and rejuvenated love.
Such terse emotions from one so quaint,
when nebulous seems the chance of perfection.
A perfumed venture with nightmarish losses
bears no attention from chivalrous hearts.
His pulpy lemon is liberated from oafish times,
expanding out to Herculean dimensions.
Gleaming pride fulfils his flawless grin
and nothing now can rupture,
for the enchanting mood of song will echo monumentally.
