Liberty Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Liberty

Liberty

Hey friends let's gather
Dance and sing, celebrate.

One shouting on Queen
One smokes narcotic
One sits on the side-walk
One on road with a cup.

Each of them abandoned
By the mass, in some way
Strange to them shame
Tell me why they must care?

This is world we live in
Rich with word ‘liberty'
Powerful gets rich and
Has hand in charity
Mostly not to donate
But to have an income
While the poor is dying.

One is rich, lies and feasts
So the poor cheats sneaks.

Isn't this paradise?
Shouldn't we feel proud?

So friends let's gather
Dance and sing, celebrate.
