Life Poem by Hannah Diane Williams

Life

Time passes,
Life goes by,
But it's never
What you think it'll be.
Life goes by quickly.
You're here one day
And are gone the next,
You vanish just like a ghost.
But what can we do,
Other than live?
Other than learn
From our mistakes and move on?
What's the point of missing someone
Who never cared about you?
What's the point in trusting people
Who will just betray you?
What's the point of living without love?
There's not a point to life at all
Unless the One who died for you
Is in your heart.
He loves you, you see
And will forgive whatever sins you may bear.
He'll give you what it takes to resist temptation.
He really does love you
No matter what you've done
And will use you
To make this world a very beautiful place.
