Life Poem by Myra Jefferson

Life

Rating: 5.0

I like where I am I love how it feels
What I see what I hear what I taste what I smell
I plunge into showers of coming attractions
I dress in the remnants of sweet satisfaction

When I taste the sunshine, I feel the birds sing
And the sound of the darkness fits like a glove
And every new dawn smells like love
then I fly toward the future with nothing to fear
with new understanding, I'm glad I'm here
