When life leaves the body
sight and hearing
taste and touch
and the power to smell follow
The body rots
and is eaten up
by birds and beasts and insects
It mingles with the earth
But where does the life go
accompanied with its
attendants
Eaten up with the muse of life; when life leaves the body. Nice work.

A question that is still baffling .Many answers assumed with no clear evidence .The unknown factor well penned. Thanks for sharing
