Life Poem by Beautiful Disaster

I never thought I would feel like this again
The love of God is a bigger rush then you ever get from any pill, drink, or boy
He sent his son to die on the cross so we could have a better life.
I spent all this time going up and down on this rollercoaster that we call life
Thinking back the only time I was ever up was when I was with God.
I spent my life running to and from him.
I ran to him because I knew he was the only way
I ran from him because I was scared about what others would say.
Now I’m back up with God
I feel so alive for the first time and I could never deny him
Life’s a trip and the only way to get through is to get good with God
He’s planning his return for all his people
And soon we his people will no longer have to deal with the dramas of the world
