Life And Love
Life and love comes hand in hand
Though we pretend
To continue on our way
Happy as can be
Though we wilt inside
Akin to the want
For love in this life
This lost life
Yet when we do have the love
The love we so yearn for
We spurn it
And mock it
And throw it away
So if love and life
Truly walk hand in hand
Then we must walk very closely
With self destruction as well.
