Life As Much As Death Poem by Jake Andrews

Life As Much As Death

Old and ragged paper skin
Frailty and weakness fear and contempt
Useless worthless and lonely
Society is degenerate and hateful
A Burdenment, hindrance and obstacle

Growth with life and beauty
Tenacity with strength and ambition
The Future of everything
Rambunctious movement and excitement
A Nuscence a pest, but freedom

Lifeless dead and dying
Fundamental elemental, the base
Decaying withering wandering
A Memory a remnant forgotten
Reaper, and your life is knocking
