Life By? Poem by Logan McDougall

Life By?

Life from above, like drops of rain from the sky. you as one, diving alone, if you only had eyes you'd see life around you. Life comes into existance like your dropp in the mud. Dirty and filthy like our hearts from the womb. Our sin grows legs and arms and skin, gets up and says, 'son you've come to your end.' just as the miracle of a fetus grows up to be your kin. Oh must we sin, over and over again. Like a dog to his vomit over ten fold to the ten! But who will stop it And love him, or hate him and turn away. Our life a tapestry sewn with sin and strife to all men. For every art there's an artist and every poem a poet But God god is the author of the book we all know it.
