Life can never say what death said,
I was far more wise on my death bed
Getting wiser till my last breath
And wiser still after death
When i sighed and tried to die and so i did
And the world said good-bye and so I bid
Behind those trees and mountains the sunshine hid
Through the trees the wind bid goodbye to the sun;
In a fiercely fascinating style and depressing fun
Just when I was going to die, I suddenly wanted to live
Just when I was trying to take, I suddenly wanted to give
My soul went back to the body, and there it tried to hide
My feelings and emotions splashed inside like a rising tide
Just an external view and I knew that life holds much more than death
And I knew the value of every breath
Life can never say what death said,
I was far more wise on my death bed
