In so many surprising ways
At times we wonder
How we can bear it
At other times
We hunger for more of it
While loving it so much-

Life gives us so much
Also in feeling
Do we really ever understand it all?
Do we really ever know ourselves?

Life gives us so much
We wonder how we could possibly live
without it.
