Life Is A Wonder
open your eyes,
watch the sunrise
the sky once black and purple
is painted by god
splashed with gold.
Be silent, listen,
the birds wake from slumber
chirping and singing
their wings flapping.
close your eyes,
feel the calmness of life
the breeze against your face
chilling but blissful.
