Life Is Not An Easy Playground Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Life Is Not An Easy Playground

Know that life is not an easy playground
Unless you were blessed to be a royal
Born with a gold bejeweled crown
With obedient subjects at your disposal.

Life is brief, an unending battlefield
Of various trials, of tears and fear
Of overcoming Fate, never to yield
To win for the sake of all we hold dear.

Life is a long journey made with each day
And the roads that we take may be narrow
All the people we meet affect us in some way
As we stumble or fall, and get up from our sorrow.

--------

'He who pursues righteousness and love
finds life, prosperity, and honor.'

Proverbs 21: 21
