Life Is Very Short Poem by Randy McClave

Life Is Very Short

Life is so very short
Most of the time it is not a resort,
Many think life is forever
But, in just a moment life could sever.
We spend so much time sweating
Also worrying and regretting,
All about the small stuff
As if we didn't have problems enough.
We worry, complain, gossip and compare
We wish and want and wait for something not there,
Instead of focusing on all the simple blessings that surround us everyday
We instead always listen and look the other way.
Life is so fragile and all it takes is a single moment to change everything
Sometimes with a thought or with a word or with a ring,
A single moment can change everything you take for granted
From worries you yourself have planted.
Focus on what's important and then be grateful
Don't always push, sometimes pull,
You are blessed, believe it without any debts
Live your life and then leave no regrets.
