Life Is Worth Living Poem by Adams King

Life Is Worth Living

Dawn as a baby from birth grows
Soon the sun shall be shinning upon my head
For the cock shall welcome her with crows
The calls are for the living not the dead

The gentle breeze nourishes my soul
Fresh grasses green like a new born breath
The morning wakes with more to know
Better is life worth living than death

There is more royalty in life as loyalty in grave
Where even the fairest of beauty decays
Those who live are those who are brave
There is wisdom conquering death for days

To live is more wisdom while fools die
Before the counting clock of nature's time
Life is more happiness but the foolish cry
Sorrow clings to their teeth like soured lime

Life is worth living and well to be spent
Than golden coins in an Arab man's purse
From all I have known and all I have learnt
Life is the remedy to death's own curse
