Life Recent Battered Body Crimes Poem by Terence George Craddock

Life Recent Battered Body Crimes

life recent
might
have been
traumatic

like a series
of severe
storm fronts
rolling in

violent
lightening
flash
thunder storms

battering
life's canvas
leaving
bone skin scars

like moon
lunar comet
strike impact
point craters

asteroids
meteoroids
comets
leave marks

a series
of monochrome
blue ripe
rotten bruises

litter moonscape
landscape
light dark
rim shadows

etch into lunar
dust skin
deep purple
swollen bruises

comet strike
survival instinct
will to survive
will it make a difference

survival measured
in impact crater distances
impact magnitude
distance from impact point

survival fight or flight
impact has zero survival fight
impact distances defined
life death chances scored
