Life's Confusion Poem by Raymond Farrell

Life's Confusion

First you cannot
Open your mouth
All the way
And then stick
Your tongue out
Past your lips
Second over 75% of you
Just tried it
Third if you did
You have learned
What I said was false
Fifth a few of you
Maybe a slim majority
Laughed
Sixth how many of you
Are willing to admit it
Without feeling embarassed
That you tried it
After all
Haven't you got
Something better to do
With your time
Sixth how many of you
Noticed I skipped
The number four
Seventh how many of you
Went back and checked
Well we also skipped
Two as well
Ha ha I got you
Or did I
I didn't skip two
Only four
Eighth I repeated six
Did you notice that
See how con-
Fusing e-
Ven simple things
In life
Can be-
Come! ! !
