You can only love someone
So deep in your heart
Before it buries itself
And tears you apart

You can only care until
It consumes all of your mind
Before they steal away
All your days and nights

You can only worry about
Something until it stops
Then starts in again until
You're forever caught

You can only weep
So many times before
Until your eyes dry up
And you're begging for more

You can only find peace
When it all comes to an end
But the suffering is there
Waiting just around the bend.
