Life Sentences
Life sentences being written into many poems,
explaining and relating many experiences that
I've lived through and not perished in spite
of them.
Thoroughly enjoying my second chance at life,
reaching for outer limits, carefully examining
each one that comes to mind.
Life-altering thoughts come to the foreground
more often than before.
Realizing the great gifts God has bestowed upon
me.
