Life Turns Barren Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Life Turns Barren

Rating: 5.0

It was last laugh
He had enough
To appeal individual girls
Yet it did not take any turn

That is life
Only fortunate people have wife
Rest may come and go
The only factor is now to forgo

It happens
With good people even
They get no chance
To talk even at once

Life turns barren
Changes come all of sudden
One had to opt out from race
To suffer agony on face

He had loved young lady
Even she was eager and ready
He could not propose
As he had maintained silence and paused

That continues till his life’s summer
No one came forward with kind offer
He glanced through his vision
But found answer with lots of confusion
