God is life. God is light.
God is our true lifelight
And though we struggle, though we fight
God is always our lifelight
Saved are we through the blood of Christ
When we trust in Him and just do right
The Holy Spirit gives us life
Life in God, our lifelight
Who rules the day and ends the night
Who comforts us in all our fright
Who gives us strength, and love, and sight
He is God, our lifelight
