Light Poem by Ruma Chaudhuri

Light

Rating: 4.5

The first morning ray
Broke the walls
of my aphotic heart
with the sweetest chatter
and took me apart.
In the misty dreamworld.

It’s sounds touched
My emotion.
I felt, God’s new creation.
Life, full of love and affection,
Resonances of a melodious notation.
Golden rays fell on grass and made it pearled.

Morning breaks with a new sunrise
I breathe for a new light.
My emotion raises and feels,
True sources of His grace and delight.
And I feel I am absolved.

Today’s first ray of light
Gives me a new life
Keeps me apart
And full of delight.
New rays of sun for my new world.

Very nicely you have described a dawn breaking sun spreading its rays to the world heralding a new day. The poem is marvelous and romantic. In the first stanza, 'misty dreamworld' is a beautiful expression.
