Light Bubbles Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Light Bubbles

Bubbles of light, staggering around the dance floor,
keeping time with the music being played for Karaoke.

Spinning wonder and twinkling thunderous mysteries
into intellect.

Swirling thoughts in dizzying aspects of prose,
calculating the energy being spent in measures of
rhythm.

Unending displays, keeping my mind exercising, so
it'll stay limber and agile as I enter old age at
sixty-three.
