Light Is A Substance Poem by Eli Spivakovsky

Light Is A Substance

feel in the breeze where you are
calling to me loudly alone in a field
searching through thin alleyways
giving up and spinning around until collapsing from dizziness
or from some sort of soul-collide
He positions the sky
so the firmament won't shatter
He positions the flaming-sworded cherub
so no one can enter Eden, but can't be delighted in either
Or I would look for you there
My little companion
my sweet ecstasy
my smoky kisser
Icebergs have ice ribbons, memories, of older waters
what is the language they make when they crash?
I'd like to lick your tongue
blend our communication
and the ribbons that grow around us
will be released into pure elucidation
And we will rub each others eyes and wake up
brilliant birds released at once
will come and find us
every day I check for you
and harness 4 horses together
i measure you with candela
that tells how much light there is
I read somewhere that 'light is a substance'
it magnetised you to me
and brought us luminous intensity.
I will enfold you
chase the dancing lights skipping through
my prayer book towards you
live on smashed pearls and pollen
for days
And the little seeds you blow
have been attracted to my ears
and I can hear your fragility
your delectation
You absorb me
with your mouth wrapped around mine
I understand your murmurs
And the zephyrs have returned
and my lips are tilted just a bit to the right
born to compliment yours
He makes a rainbow shiver with its million points of light outside
and we only need one.
