Lighthouses Poem by Alexander Thomas

Lighthouses

Love and soul mixed with an explosion of light,
From dreams that sought us in the night,
A celestial cosmic chemistry,
Divine alchemy of mystical magic,
Light suffused with air to create majestic firmament,
Crowning all the jewels of the Earth,
Seeping from cracks in the core of being,
The soul sparkles with timeless splendour and doth never age,
Permeating into all voids in existence,
We are as stars filling the black and desolate sky,
Battling against dark,
Shining lighthouses guiding lonely ships through storms.

We are the light!
Let it shine bright!
Let all be consumed by pure white!
Let the spirit take flight!
Let it lead us through darkest night!

Find thine truth in life and purity in self,
Do not wrestle your better angels,
Unfetter your blazing hearts and feather your wings,
Let love take hold, only love is true self,
Let it reflect in your being though all the mirrors of time,
We the golden embers from heavens fire,
Scattered through eternities dream,
Throw off your fragile facades,
As transcendent butterfly from chrysalis,
Bath in the light and cast out its spores,
Like dandelion in fertile spring,
May love forever gleam over rough seas,
Illuminating all lost places,
To follow love's beacon is right,
All surrender to the light!
