Like Flies Stuck To Glue Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Like Flies Stuck To Glue

Truth is not to be liked or disliked.
Quarelled about or thought offensive.
Truth to live it,
Is to face those who oppose its existence.
With a resistance to protect,
Against welcoming a manifestation of lies.
Attracting like flies.
Rushing breathless to be stuck to glue.
To believe this to do is more beneficial.
Than the right to fight the ones,
Selling deceptions to delude a way of life.
Many seem prepared to buy with their souls.
If told the doing of this,
Returns for them a lifetime of prosperity.
Delivered to their doorsteps to receive.
