I ascended the stairs, stopping on alternative steps.
A memory had cracked the sky,
For the first time in the 4 years since it happened,
It was as if I was shot with a diamond.
There We were all those years back watching Apocalypse Now,
in my bed,
but not really watching.
I got up and asked her if I could give her the torture rack.
She stood up, slipped me her underwear, and I lifted her up onto my bare shoulders; gently, spinning her around my room
until we both couldnt take it anymore.
I woke up and heeded back down the stairs.
tides pay no toll.
