Like Me Poem by moon batchelder

Like Me

i see.
they're more like me than i'd supposed.
they hide their truer nature
under layer and layer
of stone.

our kind is like that;
wearing masks and costumes
and pretending
to be other than the souls we are:
inhabitants of heaven!
