(limerick) The Scales Of Justice Poem by WES Vogler

(limerick) The Scales Of Justice

Rating: 5.0

When on trial you might feel apprehensive
There's the jury... selected defensive
'Leven men and a beauty
Too dumb to skip duty
Your fate's in their hands (feeling pensive?)

Saw Don Knotts in 'Move Over, Darling' yesterday. It stars Doris Day and James Garner. He plays a shoe store clerk thinking he's going to get a bit of Doris on the side.

Now there's a guy who looks real worried! Wouldn't bet on him. Never done Jury service. They say a good barrister can read a Jury like the back of his hand and lead them by the nose. Good Limerick
